Last updated 28 September 2026
No Drips Plumbing (No Drips, we, us) is a plumbing, drainlaying and wastewater business based in Napier, serving Hawke’s Bay. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Information you give us
When you send an enquiry or book an appointment through this website we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, suburb or location, your address if you provide it, the type of work you need and any message you write. When you call or email us we keep a record of the conversation so we can follow up on your job.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, schedule and carry out work, send invoices and keep a record of the jobs we have done for you.
Information collected automatically
This website uses cookies and similar technologies from third parties to measure how the site is used and how our advertising performs. These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you visit, the buttons and links you tap, and an identifier stored in a cookie on your device. The tools we use are:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google LLC): site usage statistics, and measurement of enquiries that come from our Google advertising.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc., which operates Facebook and Instagram): measurement of enquiries that come from our Facebook and Instagram advertising, and building advertising audiences. This means we may show ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited this website, and ask Meta to find people with similar interests. Meta may also use this data in line with its own data policy.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): hosting, security and the Turnstile check that protects our forms from spam.
These third parties collect this information on our behalf and under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices and how to opt out
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them, but some measurement will not.
- Meta: manage the ads you see from data collected on other websites in your Facebook Ad preferences and Off-Facebook activity settings. Any ad we run also has a “Why am I seeing this ad?” option.
- Google: manage personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and stop Google Analytics collecting your data with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only where we need to in order to run the business:
- Our customer relationship management and email systems, which store enquiries and send our replies.
- Our marketing agency, Hyper Digital, which manages this website and our advertising on our behalf and is bound to use your information only for that purpose.
- The advertising and analytics providers listed above.
- Suppliers, subcontractors or councils where that is needed to complete your job, for example a consent application for a wastewater system.
Some of these providers store data outside New Zealand, including in Australia and the United States. Where that happens we rely on the provider’s commitments to protect the information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Website audience data held with Meta expires 180 days after your last visit. Analytics data is kept in line with Google’s retention settings.
Security
Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in systems that require a login. We limit access to people who need it to do their job.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] or call 06 833 6247. If you are not happy with how we handle your information you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
